Private Meter Registration Request

If you are a Jefferson County Sewer Customer and have installed a New Private Meter or have moved into a residence/business that has a private meter, you must register the private meter to receive credit.

A private meter is a secondary non-Utility owned water meter installed by the owner to measure water usage that does not discharge into the sanitary sewer system, such as lawn irrigation, filling of pools, hose bibs, etc., .
